Who AM I?
I’m Margherita Campart and I’m 25 years old. I was born in Genoa (NW of Italy), where I also got my Master’s Degree in Law last year.
I’ve always loved traveling, exploring cultures and places, studying languages (teachers and foreign friends told me I’m kind of talented in language learning, that’s why I’m planning to improve my English and my Spanish and start studying one more language). 🙂
My “international” point of view made me curious about travel and tourism issues. And finally my interest pushed me to apply for an MBA in Economics and Tourism at Bocconi University in Milan, where I lived, studied and worked (as an event planner in a hotel) last year. I recently moved to Trieste, where I live with my boyfriend and work as a tour operator specialized in sailing holidays.
It’s hard to explain in a few words why I love traveling, as it’s hard to express what I feel every time I land in a new country. Foreign languages, food and customs literally dazzle me every time. They make me feel excited like a kid! That’s why my mood totally changes when I travel, and I can’t even imagine living my life without traveling.
I can’t say I have only one travel philosophy, as my travel needs change depending on the kind of trip I’m taking. For example, I think accommodation is extremely relevant if chilling is the purpose of the journey, but totally loses importance during more adventurous, frenetic trips, when the day is supposed to be full of activities.
What I love about any kind of trip is certainly living like real locals: eating their food, speaking their languages, interacting with them, getting involved in their habits. Realizing this purpose is not easy, due to the amount of work I need to do beforehand. But in the meanwhile, getting deeply informed about where I’m going makes the trip-planning phase more interesting.
Over the past years, I’ve been to France, Spain, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Morocco, USA (NYC, Miami, Orlando, Key West, Key Largo, Golden Beach). As you can see, I still have lots and lots of places to explore and I’m looking forward to seeing them. My boyfriend and I are going to Argentina end of this year. And we hoping to visit Israel before the end of 2017.

Last and not least, food, animals and fashion are some other things I’m passionate about too.
